Disastrous earthquake took place in Haiti recently. As every places where such disaster takes place, the people in the country suffer from injuries, loss of families, hunger, lack of water and electricity, and frustration. Natural disasters are apparently beyond human control: it's so abrupt, quick, and  catastrophic. We lose our friends, our houses, and our hope and belief in good future are being dropped.

"Lionel Michaud cried after finding his 10-month-old daughter among the bodies outside the central morgue. His wife was also killed when the building they lived in collapsed while he was at work".

It seems I lost the sense of being human, the sense of feeling of love, its depth and indigenous spirit, and the sadness when it's deprived by a sudden and unreasonable cause. Perhaps I don't appreciate its value as others, or I don't value myself any longer. Only a human who doesn't respect himself can feel nothing from the death.
